The Hunks of Seattle Grace

Every time I saw that I am giving up Grey’s for good, I always get sucked back in. Is this because of the intriguing story lines? Perhaps. The need to see the show through to the end? Doubtful. The fact that Seattle Grace Hospital happens to be a magnet for hot doctors? DING DING We have a winner! Okay, not every male doctor on Grey’s looks like he just walked off the runway…ahem Kevin McKidd (sorry ginger), but the quota of manliness in that hospital is through the roof.

First topic of discussion – Dr. Derek Shepherd. To be honest, I do not find Patrick Dempsey aka Dr. McDreamy to be quite as dreamy as the majority of the female population. When the whole “McDreamy” hype began, I really couldn’t see it. But after I saw Made of Honor, I totally changed by mind. Still, he ranks relatively low on the hunk factor, he would probably be December in the “Men of Seattle Grace” calendar.

Next, Dr. Mark Sloan aka Dr. McSteamy. I definitely approve of McSteamy. As much as we want to deny it, who doesn’t love the man-whore? I adore his relationship with Lexi and he can actually pull of the whole scruffy look. (Earth to Shonda Rhimes: get Mark and Lexie back to together!)

Dr. Alex Karev, Justin Chambers, is losing his mojo in my opinion. The whole Izzie storyline messed him up- the stress of it all is making him look tired and older. Old school Alex ruled. The doctor that currently in possession of the Seattle Grace hunk award has to be newcomer Dr. Jackson Avery played by Jesse Williams. I’m a sucker for eyes and those baby blue-grays are totally “sigh-worthy”.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who starred as Denny Duquette in season two has forever scarred me…my eyes that is. I found him extremely hard to look at, and my taste in movies-everything he is in I have to hate on instinct. P.S. I Love You is a movie that I would have loved under any other circumstance…but then he had to show up. Same with Watchmen.

Oh, Greys…why do you keep me coming back for more? The hot doctors. It must be a marketing ploy.
